Jim Roser, also known as J Ro, Jamie and Herbie, has been and continues to be a valuble member of Artificial Turf. His unique brand of humor and sports insights have been a big plus for the show. It is time J Ro gets his just due and enter the Turf Hall of Fame. Yes, he cried like a baby when he was given the news. (Inducted February, 2007)..... I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Bill Rogan and the Artificial Turf High Council for lowering the standards of admission enough to allow me access to this hallowed Hall. I'm only here because I took it one show at a time, always gave 110% and left it all on the field even when my back was against the wall. I was always a dark horse for the Artificial Turf Hall Of Fame, kind of a David vs. Goliath effect. But once I learned that I needed to keep my head in the game, give a great individual effort, and come through in the clutch, did I begin to make things happen out there and get to the Promised Land.Thanks also to Mary J. Blige, Golda Meir, Herbert Hoover, Lorne Green, Adam West, P. Diddy, LeBron, T-Mac, Don King, Kate Hudson, Derek Jeter, the Ghost of Sir Isaac Newton, Phil the Kwik-Stop guy, that one dude that stands on the corner of St. Mike's and Cerrillos Road and hands out free copies of the Albuquerque Journal, Randy Moss, that one guy that ran female track events and was banned from the sport after medical exams determined that he was a DUDE, and Barry Bonds.
