JAN SUMNER

An author and former BP pitcher for the Rockies and current high school pitching coach, Jan ads insight, expertise and an offbeat sense of humor to The Turf. He also has a page on this website, "Dog Days of Sumner" and has made every Turf appearance in-studio. (Inducted July 2006) "I have always maintained that acceptance into any Hall of Fame is special and to be treasured...and this is no exception. I am truly honored to be the newest member of the Turf Hall of Fame. There are obviously many people to thank for this, but suffice it to say it came down to you Bill and for that I will be eternally grateful.
