The First Fall Classic

"The First Fall Classic...The Red Sox, the Giants and the Cast of Players, Pugs and Politicos Who Re-Invented the World Series in 1912" is another tremendous effort by indefatigable author and New York Post columnist Mike Vaccaro. Time machines have yet to be invented but this book is the closest thing to it. It will take you back to a most interesting time in our country's and baseball's history. The First Fall Classic has everything you want in a book. Unforgettable characters, intrigue, mystery, drama, humor and of course great writing and storytelling by Vaccaro. If you even have a mild interest in baseball history you will really enjoy this book. Vaccaro outdid himself...again. I give it my highest recommendation. BR.
