BR and 81 Go To Boulder

Bill Rogan and Justin Adams headed to Folsom Field in Boulder on November 27th, 2009, to take in the Nebraska-Colorado game. It was the final game of the season for the Buffs and the end of the line for the seniors.
The weather was perfect and Justin was in somewhat of a nostalgic mood. JA, a recent graduate of CU, was a tight end for the Buffs, proudly wearing #81, hence his clever nickname "81".
Nebraska took advantage of 3 Colorado turnovers and won 28-20. The Cornhuskers improved to 9-3 and earned the right to play Texas in the Big 12 Title game. The Buffs, at 3-9, hope for better days ahead. Dan Hawkins will be back as head coach and while some people were hoping he would get wacked, I'm glad he'll back for two reasons. First of all, he's a great interview. I guess that's somewhat selfish on my part. However, the real reason I'm glad he's back is because I really believe he'll turn things around. I like Hawk and while it's been difficult so far, I believe it is always darkest before the dawn.
By the way, Nebraska's fans have a reputation for being enthusiastic yet classy and well behaved. That was certainly the case from what I witnessed. The Buffs fans were also on their best behavior. Well, some of them were.
Anyway, here are some pictures of our trip to Folsom Field, one of the best venues to see a college football game. BR.
